What we look after
Conditions and care.
Every new patient sees a consultant, not a junior doctor, at the first visit. Plans are written down and shared with you.
- Chest pain and breathlessness assessed with ECG, bloods and echo in one visit.
- High blood pressure with home monitoring plans and nurse-led reviews.
- Palpitations investigated with 24 or 48 hour Holter monitors.
- Heart failure managed with a cardiologist and specialist nurse together.
- Pre-surgery heart checks for patients planned for operations here or elsewhere.
- Cardiac rehab supervised exercise and education after a heart event.

Still unsure? Our patient desk answers calls from 7am to 9pm.
Talk to the patient deskNo. You can book a cardiology consultation directly. If you have a letter or previous results, bring them or upload them when you book.
Wear comfortable shoes and loose clothing, eat a light meal two hours before and bring a list of anything you take regularly. Your doctor will tell you if anything should be paused.
Many plans do, often with prior authorisation. Send us your HMO details when booking and we will request the code before your visit.
ECG and echo are usually reported during your visit. Holter results take two to three working days because the recording must be analysed.
