Four steps, every term
The same simple model in every community we work with.
Identify
Head teachers and mothers' groups name girls at risk of dropping out.
Support
Fees, uniform, sandals, books and a sanitary kit each term.
Mentor
A trained woman from the community meets the girls every week.
Follow up
We track attendance and results each term with the school.

Questions
About girls in school
Something else on your mind? Write to hello@seedlight.example and a real person will answer.
Girls in rural Plateau are far more likely to leave school early, often to help at home or marry young. Keeping them in school changes their whole family's future.
Our water and teacher programmes reach every child in a school. Boys benefit from both.
Until she sits her final secondary exams, if she wants to continue.
