How we measure
Honest counting
What we count, and what we do not claim.
Registers
School attendance registers checked each term with head teachers.
Water logs
Caretakers log every repair and breakdown.
Reading checks
Simple reading tests at the start and end of each year.
Outside review
An independent evaluator visits a sample of sites every two years.
What did not work
Lessons we learned
In 2024 four hand pumps broke within a year because spare parts were hard to find in Jos. We now only install pumps with parts sold in Plateau, and keep a spare kit at every site.
Annual report
The full report with audited accounts is available on request by email. We send a printed summary to every monthly donor.
