Responsible lending

We would rather say no than see you struggle.

Before any loan, a Harvestfield officer looks at what your business actually takes in, not just what you hope it will. Repayments should never be more than about a third of what is left after your costs. If a loan would stretch you, we will suggest a smaller one or a savings plan first.

  • Every fee written in the offer letter
  • No penalties for paying early
  • Grace periods agreed if the market is hit by floods or closures
  • We never take shop goods without a court order
