Halcrest / Manufacturing
Three lines,
one standard
Solid dose, liquids, and powders and sachets, under one roof at Cable Point. Every line runs to a written procedure and a signed batch record.
The plant was designed around one flow: materials in at the river side, finished cartons out at the road side, never crossing.
The lines
- L1

- L3
Powders and sachets
Oral rehydration salts and co-packs, in low-humidity rooms held below 35% relative humidity.
- L4
Packing hall
Blistering, cartoning and serialised batch printing, with a vision check on every pack.

Inside
Power and water
Power cuts ruin batches. Cable Point runs on its own solar field and gas engines, with the grid as the last resort. Water comes from our own borehole and is purified to the standard for pharmaceutical use, then tested every shift.
- Solar field
- 1.6 MW peak
- Gas engines
- Two of 400 kW
- Water
- Borehole, reverse osmosis, tested every shift
- Air
- Filtered, with pressure logged hourly
- Waste
- Segregated and collected by a licensed handler
Questions
Can I visit the plant?
Pharmacists and hospital buyers can book a guided visit on the first Thursday of each month through the contact page.
Do you make products for other companies?
Yes. We manufacture under contract for a small number of partners, on separate schedules.
How do you prevent mix-ups?
Lines are cleared and checked by a second person before every new batch, and labels are printed only at the packing hall.
