Change and settle
A private room and a gown that opens at the front. A chaperone is always offered.
The scan
Gel and a small probe on the chest for 30 to 40 minutes. It does not hurt and uses no radiation.

A written report within 48 hours, shared with your doctor and in your portal.

Is an echo safe in pregnancy?
Yes, echo uses ultrasound, the same kind used for pregnancy scans. Tell us you are pregnant when you book.
Can I drive after a stress echo?
Most people can. We ask you to rest for 20 minutes after the test and bring someone if you feel unsure.
Will my HMO pay?
Many plans cover this clinic. Send us your HMO card and we request the authorisation code a day before your visit.
