About Cardinal
A heart institute built for Ibadan
Founded in 2014 by cardiologists who trained and taught in the city, Cardinal brings careful heart care, clear prices and kind nursing under one calm roof in Bodija.
Our story
Started with one ECG machine
Dr Adebayo Ogunleye opened Cardinal in two rooms on Awolowo Avenue with an ECG machine, a nurse and a promise: every patient leaves understanding their own heart.
Twelve years on we have six clinics, an imaging suite, a cath lab and a rehab gym, and the promise has not changed.

What we believe
Four things we hold to
Explain everything
If you do not understand your result, we have not finished.
Price it first
Every test is priced in writing before it is done.
No false promises
We talk about benefits and risks honestly, never guaranteed results.
Teach and learn
We train young doctors and nurses from across the South West.

Community
Free blood pressure Saturdays
On the first Saturday of every month our nurses check blood pressure free at markets and churches around Bodija, Mokola and Ring Road, and help people book follow-up if they need it.

Let us look after your heart, gently.
Book online in about three minutes, call the clinic, or let the care assistant find you a slot.
