Starting, safety, fees and what to bring. Search, or ask a coach on WhatsApp.
Starting
Is the first lesson really free?
Yes. Book a trial, meet the coach and see the pool. The coach confirms the right level before you pay for a term.
What is the youngest age?
Three, in Ripples. A parent can join in the water for the first two weeks.
I am an adult and cannot swim at all. Is that normal?
Very. Our Adult Starter class is full of adults learning for the first time, in groups of four at most.
Safety
Is there a lifeguard?
Yes, a qualified lifeguard sits on deck at every lesson, separate from the coaches teaching in the water.
Are coaches qualified?
Every coach holds a swimming teaching certificate and first aid training, refreshed each year.
How clean is the water?
Tested three times a day and treated to safe levels. Results are posted at the desk.
Fees and terms
How do I pay?
Bank transfer or POS at the desk, per ten-week term. Second and later children get 10% off.
What if we miss a lesson?
Two catch-ups a term in another class of the same level. Tell us on WhatsApp.
Do lessons run in the rainy season?
Yes. The pool is covered and runs on its own power.
On the day
What should we bring?
A costume, a towel, a water bottle and goggles if you have them. Long hair needs a cap.
Where do we park?
There is parking inside the gate for twenty cars, with a drop-off lane for school runs.
Can parents watch?
From the viewing gallery above the pool, with fans and water.
Nothing matches. Ask us on WhatsApp.
Our safety promise
Every lesson has a lifeguard on deck who is not teaching, so someone is always watching the whole pool. Beginners stay in the shallow end until their coach is sure, and no class is ever larger than its ratio. Coaches renew first aid training every year.
Swimmers with extra needs
We welcome children and adults with additional needs. Tell us a little about your swimmer when you book and we will suggest a quieter class or one-to-one lessons with a coach who has experience in this area.
