The consultation and patch test
At least two days before, a doctor or nurse looks at your skin, asks about products and medicines, and tests a small area. If your skin reacts, we choose something gentler or wait.
Preparing your skin
For a week before, pause scrubs, retinoids and facial waxing, and avoid strong sun. Come to the appointment with clean skin.
The flaking is temporary. The habits you build around it, like daily sunscreen, are what last.
During the peel
We cleanse, protect sensitive areas and apply the peel for a few minutes. Most people feel tingling or warmth. We use a fan and remove it early if needed.
The flaky days
Your skin may feel tight on day one and flake lightly on days two to four. This is normal. Do not pick or peel. Moisturise and keep out of strong sun.
What happens next
We message you two days later. Peels usually work as a course of four to six, and changes build gradually. Results vary, and we will review progress with you at each visit.
General information, not personal advice. Results vary from person to person and no outcome is promised. Every treatment starts with a conversation about what is realistic for your skin.
