The cotton-to-fabric cluster takes shape in Zone A
News from the zone. Example story for this demo.
A cluster, not a scatter
Three enterprises in Zone A now take cotton from ginning to yarn on neighbouring plots. Lint moves from the gin to the spinning hall by covered conveyor, not by truck, and the shared effluent line takes waste water to the zone treatment works.
We can now say the cotton never left the north until it was cloth.

Why it matters for farmers
Ginning close to the farm belt means a shorter wait at the weighbridge and faster payment. Buying agents report that farmers are now paid by bank transfer within two days of delivery. Example figures for this demo.
What comes next
Two weaving plots in Zone B have been held by applicants, and a garment maker is in talks for a ready-built unit. The zone is planning a shared dye house with tenants, subject to the environmental review.
