About us
Titan opened in 2019 on fourteen hectares of old farmland in Oke-Ilewo. Today it is home to 3,400 members, eleven clubs and an academy of 600 children.
Why Titan
Our founder, Mrs Adebimpe Sodipo (example name), coached athletics in Abeokuta schools for twenty years and watched talented teenagers give up because the nearest real track was in Ibadan. She raised the money with local businesses, a sports loan and a lot of patience.
The promise was simple: proper facilities, fair prices, open early and late, and power that does not cut off in the middle of a session.
Timeline
Track, main pitch and four 5-a-side pitches. 600 founding members in the first month.
Football and athletics academies start with 90 children.
The indoor basketball arena and two studios open.
The eight lane aquatics centre opens with learn to swim for every primary school in Abeokuta South.
LED floodlights, a solar plant and the tennis courts complete the complex.
