SC 08What we do not do

Honest limits

We are an alterations workshop. We do not sew new outfits from scratch, and we will not promise to rescue a garment that is two sizes too small. If a change will spoil the look, we say so and suggest a better fix, or a trusted fashion designer nearby.

SC 09Service questions

Questions about the work

Can you alter leather or suede?

Simple hems and straps, yes. Major leather work goes to a specialist we trust, and we will tell you the price first.

Do you match thread to aso oke?

We keep more than two hundred thread colours and will match from the fabric itself, not from memory.

Can you make a dress smaller by two sizes?

Usually one size is fine. Two sizes changes the shape, so we will look first and give you an honest answer.

Do you do curtains?

Hems on curtains and table cloths, yes, priced per panel at the counter.

Not sure which service you need?

Send a photo and say what feels wrong. We will tell you the fix and the price.
