What a session looks like

Hands-on, then hands-off

Most sessions mix some hands-on treatment with exercise. Hands-on work can ease pain for a while; exercise and changes to daily habits are what most plans are built on.

You will always be told what we are doing and why, and you can say no to any part of treatment at any time.

  • Treatment rooms with doors, not curtains
  • A gym floor with bands, weights and a treadmill
  • Chaperones available for any session

Questions

Treatments and payment

Do you take HMO patients?

Yes, for plans that cover physiotherapy. Bring your card and authorisation code. The front desk will check your cover before treatment and tell you about any co-pay.

Can I pay in instalments?

Blocks of six sessions can be paid in two parts by bank transfer. Ask the front desk.

How long is each session?

Most follow-ups are 30 minutes; sports, after-surgery and pelvic sessions are 45 minutes.

Will I be sore after treatment?

Some people feel a little sore for a day, like after a new workout. Your physiotherapist will tell you what to expect and what to do.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No, you can book directly. Some HMO plans ask for a referral; we can help you get one.
