How we choose tutors
Four checks before anyone teaches

Subject degree
A degree in the subject or a close one, and a short written test at the level they will teach.

Demo lesson
A 30 minute lesson to a real class, watched by our academic lead.

References
Two references, at least one from a school, checked by phone.

Safeguarding
Training on child safety, plus our rules: open doors, no private messages to students, parents always copied.
Parents and tutors
Talk to the person who teaches
Every class has a parents’ WhatsApp broadcast, where the tutor posts the week’s topic and homework. Tutors do not message students privately. Once a term you can book a 15 minute call with each tutor, at the centre or by phone.
