Exam preparation

A plan for the exam year, not a last-minute rush

We prepare students for the major school and admission exams in Nigeria, with syllabus coverage first, then mock papers, then speed. We never promise grades; we promise preparation.

Exams we prepare for

Five kinds of exam, one approach

Primary 5 and 6

Secondary school entrance tests

Verbal and quantitative reasoning, mathematics and English. Saturday classes from September, with three full mock tests before the exam season.

JSS 3

Junior secondary final exams

Mathematics, English and basic science revision in the final two terms, with timed papers every month.

SSS 3

Senior school certificate exams

All core and elective subjects, syllabus mapped topic by topic, with past questions from the last ten years and marked essays.

SSS 3 and school leavers

University entrance computer-based test

Four-subject combinations, timed practice on centre laptops, and the speed drills that matter in a computer-based test.

School leavers and adults

International study admission tests

The English and mathematics sections of common overseas admission tests, in small evening groups. Ask about dates.

The exam year plan

Four stages from September

  1. September to December

    Cover the syllabus

Every topic taught once, properly, with a test at the end of each.

  2. January to February

    Close the gaps

Mock paper one, then small groups on the weakest topics.

  3. March

    Speed and timing

Mock paper two in exam conditions; computer-based practice twice a week.

  4. April to the exam

    Past questions daily

Ten years of questions, marked the same day, and a calm final week.

Mock exams

Monthly mocks, in exam conditions

On the last Saturday of each month, exam year students sit a timed paper in the hall: silent room, invigilator, answer booklets and a clock on the wall. Papers are marked within a week and every student gets a one-page breakdown by topic.

Mock exams are free for students in two or more exam year classes, and ₦5,000 per paper for others.

Computer-based tests

Practice on the machines, not just on paper

Timed practice

Our laptops run a practice program that mirrors the timing and screen layout of a computer-based test.

Speed drills

Short rounds of 20 questions in 10 minutes, so students learn when to move on.

Power backup

Inverter and generator, so a power cut never ends a practice session.

Exam questions

What parents ask

Do you guarantee results?

No honest centre can. We guarantee preparation: the full syllabus, monthly mocks and marked work. Our reports tell you how your child is progressing, month by month.

Is it too late to start in March?

It is never too late to improve. We place late joiners in the past question stage and give a focused list of topics.

Do you register students for exams?

No. Registration is done through schools and official centres. We can explain the steps and dates.
