Tutors

Taught by people who still book clients.

Every Mirage tutor works in the trade as well as teaching it. That keeps the techniques current and the advice honest.

How we teach

Demonstrate, do, correct, repeat.

  1. One tutor for eight students

In practical sessions every group of sixteen has two tutors on the floor.

  2. Correction at the chair

Tutors correct your hand while you work, not after. It feels slow for a week, then it feels fast.

  3. Teaching on real skin and hair

Live models from week two or three, with medium to deep skin and textured hair as the everyday standard.

  4. Feedback you keep

Written feedback after each module, attached to your portfolio photos.
