A week in the studio

How a teaching week runs.

  1. Monday: demonstration

A tutor works a full look or style on a model while the group watches from the front stations, with a camera on the hands for detail.

  2. Tuesday and Wednesday: in the chair

You repeat the look on a live model, with a tutor moving between stations correcting hand position, product and timing.

  3. Thursday: the clock

Timed practice, because a real client will not wait. Bridal students work against the clock with a gele to finish.

  4. End of each module: photo wall

Your finished work is photographed for your portfolio and reviewed with your tutor one to one.

Assessment

Certificates you earn at the chair.

Every course ends with a practical assessment on a live model, marked by two tutors, plus a short written paper on hygiene, products and client care.

Practical first

Seventy percent of the mark is the work itself, on a live model, against the clock.

Resits included

If you miss the mark, one resit within eight weeks is included in your fee.

Portfolio to keep

You leave with your photographed work and the files, ready for Instagram and WhatsApp.

Questions

Before you choose.

Can I join without any experience?

Yes. Foundation, the diploma and every certificate start from the beginning. Bridal and editorial expects the foundation course or similar experience; we check with a short practical on open day.

Is there an age limit?

Students must be 16 or older. Under 18s need a parent or guardian to sign the application.

Do you promise a job at the end?

No. We help you build a portfolio, invite salons to our portfolio day and share openings we hear about, but work and income depend on you and the market.

Can I switch from weekday to weekend?

Yes, once per course, into the next group with a free seat.

Find the course that leads where you want to go.

The path planner puts courses in order and fits them to real intake dates.
