Built into the crown of an old iroko, reached by a rope bridge, with a roof you can sleep under.

Two bedrooms, a plunge pool on the water and your own canoe tied to the jetty.

Raffia-woven headboards, organic cotton linen and mosquito nets.

Warm, solar-heated rainwater, open to the sky but private.

Lights, fans and charging all night. No generators, ever.

Every room has its own deck over the water or in the trees.

Questions

Is there air conditioning?

No. The rooms are designed to catch the creek breeze, with ceiling fans and screened walls. Nights in the creek are cooler than Calabar.

Are there insects?

This is a forest. Every bed has a net, rooms are screened, and we spray nothing harmful to the creek. We provide a natural repellent.

Is there phone signal?

Weak but present on the main deck. Wi-Fi works in the lodge house from 7am to 10pm.
