How it was made here
A 24 m hull on a tilting base
Our construction team built the ferry on a steel float in the well. Hydraulic rams tilted it 18 degrees for the sinking.
Rain and waves together
The four paddles ran at full swell under the rain bars, with the horizon wall painted for a storm at dusk.
Sixty people in the water each night
Swim checks, warm water, divers at arm’s length and hot showers on the quay for every extra.
The cabin interiors on Agodi
The wheelhouse and lower deck were built full size on Stage 1 for close dialogue scenes.
The tank is the reason this film exists. We could not have done the sinking anywhere else in the country.

Planning something similar?
Can we use the same sets?
Some sets stay standing between productions. Ask the bookings desk what is up this month, and we can price a redress.
How far ahead should we book?
Features and series book 4 to 9 months ahead for Stage 1 and the tank. Commercials often book with two weeks notice.
Do you help with crew?
Yes. We keep a list of trusted Ibadan and Lagos crew, and our own construction, lighting and marine teams.
