About Freshcrate
Started with one crate in Sangotedo
Freshcrate began in 2021 when Ijeoma Okafor started buying fruit for her neighbours on her way back from the market. Her wooden crates became a familiar sight on Sangotedo streets. Today a small team of eight buys, presses, packs and delivers more than 300 crates a week.
We still return to the same traders every week, and we still pack every crate by hand.
On the road
Riders you can trust
Uniformed
Riders wear Freshcrate shirts and carry ID cards. They call before arriving.
Estate friendly
We are registered at most estate gates in Ajah and Lekki. Add your gate code in the order notes.
No one home
We can leave the crate with security or a neighbour, with a photo on WhatsApp.
