The crew

Twelve people, one call sheet

Ember is an in-house crew, not a list of freelancers. The same people quote, shoot and finish your film.

How we work together

House rules on set

  1. Hot lunch, on time

Every crew member eats at the same time as the director. Always.

  2. Twelve hour days

Overtime is paid and agreed, never assumed.

  3. Safety first on water

Life jackets on, no water scenes after 4pm, a pilot on every boat.

  4. Credit where due

Every crew member is credited on every film, including the drivers.

About the crew

Can we request a specific director?

Yes. Mention them in your enquiry. If they are booked, we will tell you the next dates they are free.

Do you hire freelancers?

For larger shoots we add trusted freelancers to the core team, and say so in the quote.

Next set-up

Meet the crew on a call.

Your producer will introduce the director and DOP before you approve a quote.
