Our studio
A dental studio built around how you feel.
Ivorie opened in 2019 with two chairs and one idea: dental care in Lagos can be calm, honest and beautiful, without costing the earth.
Our founder, Dr Ronke Adesanya, spent years watching nervous patients cancel and come back only when something hurt. Ivorie is her answer: longer appointments, softer rooms, plain explanations and a team trained to notice when someone is anxious.
We started on the first floor of a quiet building in Victoria Island with two chairs and a receptionist who also made the tea. Word spread through friends, colleagues and church groups, and in 2023 we moved into the whole floor.
Today we have five treatment rooms, an in-house scanner for aligners and implants, and a team of eleven. We still make the tea.
How we work
Our philosophy in four lines.
Prevention first
The best treatment is the one you never need. We spend time on cleaning, gums and habits.
Options, not pressure
You get at least two options with prices, and the right to say no to all of them.
Comfort is clinical
Relaxed patients heal better. Numbing gel, sedation and breaks are part of good dentistry.
Natural results
We design smiles that look like yours, only healthier. No identical rows of piano keys.
Safety
Sterilisation you can inspect.
Every instrument goes through a washer, an inspection and a steam steriliser, then is sealed in a dated pouch that is opened in front of you.
- Daily steriliser tests, logged and signed
- Single-use needles, cups and bibs
- Water lines filtered and tested monthly
- Surfaces cleaned between every patient
- Clinical waste collected by a licensed handler
- 2019studio opened
- 5treatment rooms
- 11people on the team
- 8,000example patient visits a year

Community
Smiles beyond the studio.
Once a month the team visits a primary school in Lagos Island to teach brushing, hand out toothbrushes and screen children for decay. Families who need treatment are offered free visits at the studio.
We also run a quarterly free check-up morning for domestic staff of our patients, because healthy teeth should not depend on your job title.
