Crown Mall / About
Since 2019
A crown for Ogui Road
Crown Mall was built on the site of an old motor park to give Enugu a place to shop, eat and meet under one roof, with power that stays on and parking that works.
- Opened 2019
- Solar roof since 2023
Our story
From motor park to meeting place
2016, the idea
A group of Enugu families bought the old motor park and asked one question: what would make people stay longer on Ogui Road?
2019, the doors open
Thirty stores, a supermarket and a two screen cinema.
2022, the roof level
The food hall, The Terrace and three more screens arrive under the gold crown.
2023, the solar roof
1.2 megawatts of panels with gas backup. The generators were sold the same year.
2026, the digital mall
The 3D finder, the app and the Vablus assistant, all run from the COVORN dashboard.
What we care about
Three promises
The lights stay on
For shoppers and for the forty tenants who once spent more on diesel than on rent.
Safe for families
Security on every floor, lit walkways and staff trained to help lost children first.
Room for local makers
Ten kiosks and the Night Market are kept for small Enugu businesses, at reduced rent.
Free health checks, a jobs fair and a football tournament on the car park deck.
Part of the neighbourhood
We sponsor two youth football teams, run a jobs fair every March and give the atrium free to schools for prize giving days.
Every year Crown Mall sets aside a share of service charge income for repairs to the roads around the mall, agreed with the community association.
Work with us
We hire for Guest Services, security, events and the tenants on every floor.
