Inspect, treat, seal, follow up
Cleanslate was started in 2015 by a public health officer who wanted pest control to feel calm, careful and clear.

The founder’s note
Why we do it this way
I spent ten years in public health in Ogun State, and I saw families sleep in rooms that had been sprayed an hour earlier, children eat from plates left on the table, and pets locked inside. Nobody had told them anything.
So when we started Cleanslate, we wrote the rules down first: inspect before you treat, use the least product that works, tell people exactly how long to stay out, and always come back.
Nobody had told them anything. So we wrote it down.
Ten years later we have eleven technicians, two vans and more than six thousand homes on our books in Abeokuta. The rules have not changed.
The method
Four steps, every visit

Inspect
We find where pests live, feed and enter, and photograph what we find.
- 02
Treat
Targeted gel, bait or spray where they live, at measured doses.
- 03
Seal
Gaps under doors, pipe holes and drain covers fixed so they cannot return.
- 04
Follow up
A second visit timed to the pest’s life cycle, included in the price.
