A year on the hill in pictures
The rows through both seasons, the cellar, the kitchen and the people who make it all work. Tap any photo to see it large.
Seasons
Two cycles a year
October to February
The harmattan cycle
Pruning in the last rains, flowering in dusty light, harvest in the driest weeks. Our main vintage.
April to August
The rain cycle
Pruned as the rains arrive, the vines race through green months and give a smaller crop in the August break.
