Skyward began with a simple frustration: Ibadan is 128 km from Lekki, yet the journey could take most of a working day. We set out to give that time back.

Five years, one route at a time
An idea on the expressway
Founder Adeola Ogunleye loses six hours to traffic on one Lagos trip and starts planning.

First flight
One SW-4 and two pilots fly the first Ring Road to Lekki seats.
2021
Twin engines
Three SW-6 twins join the fleet, and Ikeja airport flights begin.
2023
Abuja
Monday and Friday flights to Maitama start.
2025
18,400 seats
Five aircraft, fourteen pilots, nine engineers and a new lounge.
2026
Adeola Ogunleye
Former bank operations director. Still flies the 7:30 every Monday.
Captain Ronke Adebayo
6,000 hours, trains every new pilot herself.
Ifeoluwa Akande
Leads nine licensed engineers in the Ring Road hangar.
