Story
About Nala Ray
Nala grew up in Surulere singing in her aunt's church and recording voice notes on a cracked phone. A demo sent to us in 2023 became her first single, Slow Burn, which found its way onto late night playlists across the city.
Her debut album Afterglow was recorded over eight months in Studio A with a live band, a string trio from the university orchestra and a lot of zobo.
