What happens in the show

A ball of fire
How big is the sun? A million Earths would fit inside. We fill the dome with it, slowly and gently.
- 02
Eclipse
Watch the moon slide across and the day turn to dusk. We explain how to watch one safely.
- 03
Power from light
Panels, batteries and the solar plant on our own roof, which keeps the halls lit when the grid goes down.

Questions about Our star
Will my child be scared?
The lights dim slowly and the presenter talks the whole way through. If anyone needs a break, the exit is lit in soft red and staff will help.
Is it the same every time?
The story is the same, but every audience asks different questions, so no two shows end the same way.
Can schools book it?
Yes. It links to the Basic Science and Physics curriculum, and teachers get a free worksheet pack.
