Every Friday

Telescope Fridays

Six telescopes on the roof terrace, from a small refractor for children to a 14 inch reflector that shows the rings of Saturn sharp enough to gasp at.

  1. 01

    Arrive from 7pm

The roof opens at sunset and the first target is usually the moon.

  2. 02

    Queue for each scope

Astronomers point and explain, and help little ones reach the eyepiece.

  3. 03

    Cloudy?

We move into the dome for a live sky show instead, at no extra cost.
