Service 04, project cargo
Heavy, wide and awkward, planned to the bridge
Generators, transformers, steel coils and plant machinery do not fit a standard truck or a standard plan. We survey the route, arrange the permits and escorts, and move the load at the hours the road allows.
- Up to 60 ton low-loaders
- Route surveyfor every out of gauge load
- Escortsarranged with permits
What is included
Project cargo is a small engineering job. Each move gets a written plan that you approve before a wheel turns.
- Route surveyA supervisor drives the route first, measuring bridges, wires and tight bends.
- Permits and escortsWe apply for movement permits and book escort vehicles for wide loads.
- Lashing planChains, binders and dunnage sized to the load, with photos of every lashing point.
- Crane coordinationWe bring or coordinate the crane at both ends so the truck is not kept waiting.
- Night and Sunday movesWide loads move when the road is quiet, as the permit requires.
- Site handoverA supervisor stays until the load is set down on its plinth.

Questions shippers ask
Before you book
Heavy moves have long lead times. The earlier we see the drawings, the cheaper and calmer the move.
Ask dispatchHow much notice do you need?
Two to three weeks for out of gauge loads because of permits. Under-gauge heavy loads can move within a week.
Can you supply the crane?
Yes, through our crane partners in Lagos and Abuja, or we work with your own lifting contractor.
Is the load insured?
Our goods in transit cover goes up to ₦150 million per load. Above that we arrange a single move policy for you.
Do you move to sites without paved access?
Often. The survey checks the access road and we bring steel plates if the ground needs it.
