Highlights
A robot that sorts cassava from yam
A mechatronics team built a camera and conveyor rig that tells cassava from yam and pushes each into its own crate. A food processor from Agbara asked for a trial on their line. Example story.
A queue app for a clinic, a cost plan for a school
Computing students showed a queue app already used by a clinic in Surulere, and the quantity surveying class priced a real classroom block for a community school in Ajegunle, with the contractor checking their figures.
What employers said
Judges scored clarity, practical skill and how well each team handled questions. The most common comment on the feedback cards was simple: they built it themselves.
