S · Our story
A family house that became a hotel.
The Marlowe began as a 1960s family home on a quiet Bodija close. We kept the garden, the mango trees and the welcome.

I · The house
Built in 1964, opened in 2023.
The original house was built by a lecturer at the university, who planted the mango trees that still shade the pool. His grandchildren, who grew up running on that lawn, opened The Marlowe in 2023 after four years of careful work.
We kept the bones: the high ceilings, the long veranda, the terrazzo floors. We added what a modern guest needs: power that never goes off, fast Wi-Fi, quiet air conditioning and bathrooms you could live in.
