Chapter XIV
The house
Larkspur was founded in 2009 by a gemmologist and a master setter, an invented story for this demo. We are still small on purpose: one salon, one workshop and six jewellers.
In numbers, example figures
Our story
A bench and a safe in a flat in Wuse.
The first salon opens in Maitama.
The workshop moves upstairs; clients can watch through glass.
High jewellery begins with the first rivière.
The ring builder opens online, with Receivly deposits.
People
Forty years at the bench, trained in Kano and London.
Grades every stone we buy and runs the salon viewings.
Our youngest jeweller, and the hand behind the River hoops.
Example people for this demo.
What we believe
Every stone over 0.3 carats has an independent report.
We buy from dealers who sign our sourcing code.
The price on the tag is the price; no haggling needed.
Free cleaning and checks for as long as you own the piece.
Visit
A quiet house off Gana Street with a garden, a private room and the workshop upstairs behind glass.
Ask for a workshop visit with your appointment; Mallam Sani likes visitors.
