Why we ask questions.
A key is a way into someone's home. We follow these rules on every job and thank you for your patience.

We cut from a key, not from a photo
We copy keys you bring in person. We do not cut keys from photos or codes sent by strangers.

We ask for ID on lock jobs
Before we open or change a lock at a property we check ID and proof that you live or work there.

We keep no copies
We do not keep copies or records of the keys we cut.

Restricted keys need a card
Some security keys can only be copied with the owner's card. Bring it with you.

Bring it back with the original. We re-cut it free of charge, or refund you.
Can you copy a key that is already worn?
Usually yes. We decode the original depths and cut a fresh key, not a copy of the wear.
Can you cut chip car keys?
Not at this bench. We cut older car keys without a chip.
Do you come out for lockouts?
Within Barnawa, Kakuri and Narayi, yes, with ID and proof of address checked before we open anything.
Padlocks
A good padlock for a shop shutter
Choose a closed shackle padlock in hardened steel, at least 60 mm wide. We stock three sizes and cut extra keys while you wait.
