When to marry
Seasons in Kano
Harmattan, December to February
Cool, dry evenings and the most popular dates. Book a year ahead for Saturdays.
Hot season, March to May
Bright days; we recommend evening events and the cooled Glass Hall.
Rains, June to September
The Glass Hall and covered walkways keep everyone dry. Lower prices on the lawn.
After the rains, October and November
Green gardens and roses coming into bloom.
FAQ
Date questions
What if two families want the same date?
The first deposit holds it. We tell the second family straight away and suggest the nearest free date.
Do you avoid religious holidays?
We mark Eid and Christmas periods in the calendar and price them separately. Ramadan evenings are available for Iftar gatherings.
Can we change the date later?
Once, free of charge, up to six months before. After that the deposit moves with a small fee.
