The Glasshouse Our story
The Glasshouse began as a family garden in Nassarawa GRA. In 2014 we built a glass hall among the palms for a daughter's wedding, and the neighbours asked if they could use it too.
History
Hajiya Rakiya Abdullahi planted the first roses in 1991. Twenty years later, her daughter wanted to marry at home, among them. The family built a glass hall so the wedding could go ahead in the rains.
Word travelled. By 2016, the garden hosted a wedding most weekends, and the family hired its first events manager. Today the team of forty-six still includes three of Hajiya Rakiya's grandchildren.
