[ 03 ] Preparation
Before you come
- 01Fast for 6 hours for a clear view of the gallbladder.
- 02Drink 1 litre of water an hour before and do not empty your bladder.
- 03Wear loose, two-piece clothing.
- 04Bring any previous scan reports for comparison.
[ 04 ] In the lab
How we run it
Scans take about 30 minutes in a private, air-conditioned room. A chaperone is always available, just ask.
Images are reported by a radiologist within an hour and released to you and your doctor together. Pregnancy scans are available as a separate booking.

No, scans are done at our Garki and Wuse branches where the machines are. Blood tests can be collected at home the same day.
Yes. Key images are attached to your online report, and a printed copy is available on request.
Ultrasound uses sound waves, not radiation. For pregnancy scans, please book the pregnancy ultrasound instead.
