Eligibility
Who can apply?
Nigerian citizens aged 21 to 60 at application, with a steady income they can show on bank statements. The loan must end before you turn 70.
Can self-employed people get a mortgage?
Yes. We look at twelve months of business statements and two years of accounts.
Do I need a guarantor?
Not usually. A guarantor can help if your income history is short.
What credit history do you need?
No missed payments in the last twelve months on other loans. Older problems can be explained.

Are the rates on this site real?
They are example rates for this demo. A live site would show the bank's current published rates.
How long is the rate fixed?
The example rate is fixed for three years, then follows our base rate.
Can I add the fees to the loan?
The arrangement fee can be added. Legal and registration fees are paid at completion.

Which titles do you accept?
Certificate of occupancy, governor's consent, and deeds of assignment with a sound root title.
Do you lend on land?
Only through construction finance, when you are building a home on it.
Which states do you cover?
Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, the FCT and Rivers.

How do I repay?
By standing order from your salary account, by employer deduction, or by transfer.
Can I overpay?
Yes, up to 10% of the balance each year without a fee, and any amount after year three.
What happens if I miss a payment?
We call you first. Talk to us early and we will look at a payment plan together.

Which countries do you accept income from?
We currently accept income from eleven countries including the UK, US, Canada and the Gulf states (example list).
Can I meet an adviser on video?
Yes, with evening and Saturday slots for different time zones.
