When the river changes

The Ogun River runs high from June to October and low from January to March. In the dry months the Isheri sandbanks can add ten to fifteen minutes to the river run, and we publish a dry season timetable each January.

On the lagoon, the harmattan mornings can bring mist. If visibility drops below a safe distance, the first sailings wait at the jetty until it lifts, and we text every booked passenger.

Public holidays run the Saturday timetable, except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, when only the Lagoon Link sails, from 10:00 to 16:00.

How early should I arrive?

Twenty minutes before departure. Gates close five minutes before the boat leaves.

Can I buy a ticket at the jetty?

Yes, by POS or cash, if seats are left. Booking online keeps your seat.

Do boats run in heavy rain?

Rain alone, yes. Storm warnings or strong wind on the lagoon, no: we hold the boat and text you.

Is there parking at the jetties?

Lafenwa and Ikorodu have secure parking. Other jetties have keke and okada ranks outside.
