Beyond the classroom

Sport, music, art and a lot of noise

Thirty-eight clubs, teams and ensembles each week. Every pupil plays, sings, paints or debates, and many do all four.

Sport

A full-size field, a track and a pool

PE twice a week for everyone, swimming from Year 1, and inter-house competitions every term. Our football and athletics teams compete across Akwa Ibom, and the annual inter-house sports day is the loudest day of the year.

  • Floodlit field and six-lane track
  • 25-metre pool with qualified lifeguards
  • Coaches for football, athletics, swimming and basketball
The arts

Music, drama and making

Every primary pupil learns recorder and then a second instrument. Secondary students can join the orchestra, choir, drama company or art studio, and our cultural dance troupe performs at state festivals.

Two productions a year fill the assembly hall, and the end-of-year exhibition turns the library into a gallery.
