Bidding rules

Fair to every bidder.

  1. 01

    Bid steps

Under ₦5 million, bids go up in ₦50,000. From ₦5 million to ₦10 million, ₦100,000. Above that, ₦250,000.

  2. 02

    Highest bid

Set the most you will pay and we bid for you one step at a time, only as far as needed.

  3. 03

    Extra time

A bid in the last two minutes adds two minutes, so nobody wins by a last second snipe.

  4. 04

    Reserve

Some sellers set a lowest price. If bidding does not reach it, the seller may accept the top bid within 24 hours.

Questions about live lots

Can I see a car before I bid?

Yes. The Uyo yard is open for viewing Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Partner yard viewings are by appointment.

What does the grade mean?

A is close to new, B is a good used car with normal wear, C needs some work. Every grade is explained in the inspection report.

Are the cars cleared and registered?

Every lot comes with customs papers where imported, and either current Nigerian plates or a clear path to registration, listed in the report.

What if I win and change my mind?

A winning bid is a contract. If you do not pay within 48 hours, you lose your deposit and the car goes to the next bidder.
