Used cars, sold in the open.
Autobid started in 2020 with one idea: if every buyer sees the same inspection and the same bids, used cars in the South South can be bought with confidence (example history).
Why we built it.
Buying a used car in Uyo used to mean trusting a middleman you had just met. Prices changed depending on who was asking, and problems appeared a week after the money changed hands.
We put the cars in one yard, inspected every one the same way, and let buyers bid in the open, lot by lot, with the clock in plain sight. Sellers get the price the market will pay; buyers get a report they can hold us to.
Today we sell about 60 cars a week from Uyo and partner yards in Port Harcourt and Calabar, to buyers across Nigeria.
