Investor-facing clarity for a funded team

Narrative, identity, website · 2026

The situation

The funded team had a working product and a term sheet, but its pitch materials, website and product told slightly different versions of what the company was for. That is a hard thing to notice internally and an easy thing for an investor or an early enterprise buyer to notice immediately.

The approach

  • 01DiscoverMapped the versions of the story being told internally, to investors and to early customers, to find where they diverged.
  • 02DefineSettled one narrative and positioning the company could use in a pitch deck, a sales call or a job posting without contradicting itself.
  • 03DesignBuilt the identity system the narrative needed, so the visual brand read as seriously as the product performed.
  • 04BuildRebuilt the website around that narrative, written for the buyer and the investor reading it, not for search engines.

The outcome

  • Replaced three internal versions of the company's story with one narrative used across the deck, the site and the sales process.
  • Gave the team a website that explains what the product actually does, not only what category it competes in.
  • Left the founders with an identity system they can extend into future materials without briefing an agency each time.
