Every lifeguard trains here

All 34 of our lifeguards finish a six week course before they wear the red shirt: swim tests, rescue drills, first aid and how to watch a crowded pool without blinking at the wrong moment.

Ten and twenty

The rule is simple: scan your zone every ten seconds and reach anyone in it within twenty. Each guard rotates every 30 minutes to stay sharp.

Practise, practise

Every morning before the gates open the team runs a drill, from a lost child to a slide stop. Guests never see it, but it is why the park runs calmly.

Join them

We hire new lifeguards twice a year. Strong swimmers aged 18 to 35 can apply at the contact page.
