The atelier

Bespoke gowns, alterations and every finishing touch.

Six seamstresses, one cutting table and a long memory for measurements. Here is everything we make besides the collection.

Beaded lace on a gown, in black and white

Bespoke

A gown that did not exist before you.

From ₦2.5 million and seven months. Our creative director sketches with you, we make a calico toile to perfect the shape, then cut the gown in your chosen fabric.

  1. Design session

Two hours with sketches, swatches and your inspiration.

  2. Toile fitting

The shape in plain cotton, adjusted on you.

  3. Three fittings

In the final fabric, as with every gown.

Questions

Atelier work.

Can you copy a gown I saw online

We do not copy another designer’s work, but we can design an original gown inspired by what you love about it.

How far ahead should I book alterations

At least six weeks before the wedding for most work, ten weeks for restyling a family gown.

Do you work with brides outside Uyo

Yes. Many of our brides come from Calabar, Port Harcourt and Lagos. We plan fittings around your travel and can do the first two on a single weekend.

What if the power goes off

The atelier runs on solar with a generator backup, so fittings and pressing never stop.
