Suits with the ease of an agbada.
Tobi Lawal. Sharp suiting with the drape of an agbada, in wool blends and linen.
The collection
Tobi Lawal trained as a tailor on Lagos Island and spent five years cutting suits for clients who wanted to look sharp and stay cool. Lawal Tailoring is the result: tailoring that keeps its line in humid heat.
The collection, Island Hours, uses linen and light wool blends with a softened shoulder and a wide, flowing sleeve borrowed from the agbada. Jackets are unlined so air moves.
Expect sixteen looks for men and women, from a cream three piece for weddings to a rust double breasted jacket worn over a simple kaftan.
