Which level am I?
Take the free placement test in English or French, then a five minute speaking check. For other languages the speaking check is the test.
Can complete beginners join?
Yes. Every language has an A1 class each term.
How old must I be?
Adult classes are 16 and over. Junior clubs are for ages 8 to 15 on Saturdays.
How big are classes?
Twelve at most, about eight on average.
What if I miss a class?
Join the same level another day that week, or watch the recording of the online class.
Is there homework?
About twenty minutes after each class, marked and returned.
How much does a course cost?
From ₦95,000 for an eight-week group course. Use the fee calculator on the enrol page for your exact course. Example fees.
Can I pay in parts?
Yes, in two parts: half to hold the seat, half by week four.
Do you offer scholarships?
Four free places each term for school leavers from Akwa Ibom.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, a Penstroke certificate at the end of each level with your test results.
Do you prepare for international exams?
Yes. Our academic English and French diploma courses prepare you for the main international exams; you register for the exam itself directly.
