About
Fourteen years of honest repairs
Gearline started in 2012 as a two-bay roadside workshop near Kawo. Today it is an eight-bay workshop, a car wash and a fleet service centre, still owned and run by the same family.
Our story
Started by a mechanic tired of guesswork
Founder Alhaji Yusuf Lawal trained at a dealer workshop in Kano. When he opened his own two bays he made one rule: never replace a part you have not tested. Customers noticed. The workshop grew, the first scan tool arrived in 2014, and in 2020 we moved into the current site on Ahmadu Bello Way.
Today his son Ibrahim runs the workshop and his daughter Aisha runs the car wash and fleet accounts.

My father said a mechanic's only real tool is trust. The scan tools just help us keep it.
