How much to charge
How much to charge guests for aso ebi
Aso ebi should not make the celebrant poorer, and it should not feel like a business to guests. Here is how to set a fair price.
Start with the true cost
Add the fabric per guest, tailoring if included, gele or cap, beads and delivery. Then add the small costs: bags, labels, transport to the market and the tailor.
Decide on a margin, or none
Some families add five to ten percent to help with event costs. Others sell at cost. Either is fine if you are clear from the start.
Set the deadline early
Ask for payment at least six weeks before the event. Fabric prices can rise, and tailors need time.
Make paying easy
One account, one reference per guest and a receipt for everyone. The tracker does this for you.

Getting measurements right from abroad
Guests flying in from London, Houston or Lagos can still have a perfect fit. It just needs a tape, a friend and a little care.
