How we run a fair bracket
Players trust a bracket they can see being made. Here is exactly how we make ours.
By the Arcade Nine crew. Example article for this demo.
Seeding from points
The top eight players on season points are seeded so they cannot meet in the first round. Everyone else is drawn at random, live on the stage screen, in front of the players.
Same kit for everyone
Every match uses the same settings, the same screens and controllers from the same batch. Players can bring their own controller if it is wired and checked by the referee.
If you cannot see the draw, you cannot trust it.
Referees on every match
A crew member watches every match. Disputes go to the head referee, and the decision is written on the board with the reason. We record finals so we can review anything unclear.
Prizes paid fast
Prize money goes by bank transfer within two days, to the winner’s own account, with a receipt.
Example figures.
Can I see the bracket before the night?
Seeds are published the day before. The rest is drawn live.
What if a player is late?
Ten minutes grace, then the match is forfeited.
Who can become a referee?
Regular players can train with Musa, our head referee.
